Instructions to Authors

  • The AIB CEE 2022 ZAGREB CONFERENCE is accepting EXTENDED ABSTRACTS till: 20th July 2022 (NEW DEADLINE!!!)

  • After reviewers' remarks (30th July 2022), corrected EXTENDED ABSTRACTS have to be uploaded by 01st September 2022 to be included into the book of abstracts

  • The extended abstracts will be published in the ELECTRONIC BOOK OF ABSTRACTS with ISBN number; downloadable for the conference participants in PDF form

  • After the conference, authors of selected papers will be invited to prepare full papers for inclusion to the Proceedings of the conference (in the form of an internationally edited monograph with ISBN) or for inclusion to supporting journals

  • Upon invitation, full papers have to submitted not later than 3 months after the conference, till: 15th December 2022

  • All selected and submitted papers will be given the recommendation for inclusion to publication by Conference Organizers, but they are subject to regular peer-review process organized by Proceedings' editors or by a certain supporting journals' peer-review process. The committee of the AIB CEE Chapter conference is not responsible for the final results of the peer-review processes!


  • The structure of the EXTENDED ABSTRACTS is following:

    • TITLE

    • AUTHORS AND AFFILIATIONS

    • EXTENDED ABSTRACT

    • Text of the extended abstract (minimum 500 , maximum 2500 words; text should include Introduction; Research Significance or Background; Methodology; Results; Discussion and implications; Conclusions; References and Acknowledgements if applicable)

    • KEYWORDS (Please list 3-5 keywords)

    • CONFERENCE TRACK at which you want to present your research, for the track number and title, refer HERE>>>

    • If you want to participate ONLINE only, please indicate only ONLINE track (last track at the list)!!!

Guidelines for Panel Proposals

  • Submissions of panel proposals: must be made by 20th July 2022

  • All submissions should be made in English language through the online submission system, please remember to choose the “Panel” option for the Submission Type field during the submission process!

  • Panel proposals have to be submitted by the panel chair(s) and must include:

    • A title page that includes the names, affiliations and contact information for all participants and identification of their roles. This list should contain at least four people who have confirmed their participation at the Conference

    • An abstract, not exceeding 150-200 words, that summarizes the panel (to be used in the proceedings)

    • An explanation of why the panel should be of interest to AIB-CEE Chapter Conference and to AIB-CEE members (500–1000 words)

    • A description of the session format (e.g., pro and contra debate, roundtable discussion etc.)

    • Any special room setup or technical requirement that the panel requires (please note that the feasibility of these requirements will be part of the evaluation criteria)

  • Panel proposals should be no more than 6,000 words inclusive of all materials.

  • Panel proposals should address an innovative theme or topic within area of interest of the conference.

While designing the panel, please keep in mind that sessions at the AIB-CEE Chapter Conference are limited to 60 minutes.

Please also note that only panelists that will appear in person at the conference can be listed in the programme!
